Food is a Drug

All food is drugs. Anything that you can possibly put into your body is a drug. When you eat, you aren't really nourishing yourself in the way you think, you are actually feeding the bacteria in your gut. The more toxic your gut is, the more you 'crave' food, usually the most toxic foods, it's not 'you' who is hungry, it's your bacteria wanting to be fed. As you start eating healthier, or fasting, you accustom the bad bacteria to no food, and to eventually die, leaving you clean and without cravings or the unnecessary need to eat.

Frozen Food is Dead

Eating frozen food is a cheap option. But it's dead energy. The quality of a material substance depends in its totality on the energy behind it. Pretty much the same as the quality of a person: a sculpted body without a heart or a soul is not beautiful, what is more, it's ill and unhealthy. So why eat unhealthy food? only because it's cheap? LOL! There are cheap people too! it doesn't mean we bring them into our lives - unless we want to hang around in their miserable sub-worlds, that is. If you want to eat cheap because you can't afford more, buy at the market, buy the 'sale' or 'clearance' foods that are reduced in price at the end of the day, or buy fresh and freeze them yourself.

The Right Food for Me?

As a trainer, with my humble sports nutrition knowledge and experience I have designed a good number of Nutrition Plans for my clients, all of them with different food intolerances, allergies, preferences and tastes. In most cases, for fat loss/body toning, the rules are to increase protein and green vegetables' intake and reduce fat amounts and unnecessary calories from 'nutritionally empty foods' (which may be rich in micronutrients and water but not macros, such as celery, lettuce, mushrooms, bone broth, etc). Now, is this optimal and adequate for every individual? the answer is no.

What you eat is what you think

Think about it. You eat something, which separates into nutrients, and then chemical elements. Those go into your blood and cells and build your body. They become you. If they are mostly aluminum, you'll be Wizard of Oz's Tin Man 🙂 and if they are mostly oxygen, or carbon, you'll be an organic person 🙂 . It's quite easy to comprehend. In the same manner, if you eat acidic foods, you'll get acid thoughts.

Overeating & Trauma

It's not easy to have the willpower to follow a diet when one has an energetic footprint from other lives that conditions the current behaviours, preferences, orientations, lacks and blockages in the present body. Plus it's not just our own individual life's journey, but also our parental, social and environmental baggage that affects who we are and the shape of our body (including where we tend to store fat and water). So let us see how these stored pieces of energy can determine our predisposition to overeat, no matter how willing we are to change... we might always come back to the same patterns, if we don't heal the root cause, i.e. the trauma.
